Zespoły Green Day, Bad Religion i Blink 182 pojawią się w filmie ukazującym scenę punkową lat 90.
Dokument zatytułowany "One Nine Nine Four" powstaje z ramienia niezależnej australijskiej firmy producenckiej Robot Academy Films.

Premierę dzieła zaplanowano na 2008 rok. W roli narratora wystąpi legenda skateboardingu, Tony Hawk. Film ukazywać będzie ponadto kariery i dokonania grup Rancid, the Offspring, Lagwagon czy NOFX.

Dwóch reżyserów przebywa obecnie w Los Angeles przeprowadzając wywiady i przeglądając archiwa w poszukiwaniu materiałów.

ja polecam instrument. to wlasciwie dokument tylko o jednej kapeli. ale za to o ikonie sceny niezaleznej. o fugazi. pada tez troche uwag i spostrzezen na temat sceny hc. fajne i ciekawe.
jest tez cos takiego metal a headbangers journey. ja jeszcze tego nie ogladalem(zawsze cos ciekawszego jednak wybieram) ale znajomi twierdza ze ciekawy. no i rzeczywiscie tak moze byc.
spoko tez jest refused are fucking dead ale skupia sie glownie na tej zajebistej kapeli.
byly tez przynajmniej 2 filmy o sex pistols ale raczej nie warto ich polecac...
niedokumentalne(ale w duzej mierze traktujace o muzyce) to np: 24hr party people, last days czy hi fidelity

Boston Beatdown Vol. II DVD 2004

Boston Beatdown is a documentary movie series on the violence in the Boston hardcore culture.

The Boston hardcore scene was at one point overrun by neo-Nazis, so a group of Boston hardcore fans created a group called Friends Stand United (FSU) who were credited for getting rid of them. Their methods were aggressive, and they would sometimes attack Nazi-Skinheads at concerts.

This movie is based on some of the ideas and actions of FSU, as described in this article. The violent acts depicted in the film are recorded by members of that Boston hardcore crew. Their website claims that Boston beatdown is an independent film company – and only an independent film company. Boston Beatdown is not FSU and FSU is not Boston Beatdown.

There are two volumes to Boston Beatdown: Volume 1 is impossible to find on DVD, while Volume 2 is more accessible. While Volume 2 is widely praised within the scene, Volume 1 is an embarrassment, featuring pornographic footage from Ozzfest and local bars, women urinating, and a woman removing her tampon. The Boston Hardcore scene has never come out and denounced Volume 1.

The film company claims that this is documentation of the FSU, and that the persons in the film were not acting or effected by the filming. [2]. As result of the violence depicted in the film, FSU T-shirts were banned from many venues in the Northeastern United States.

Heavy. The history of metal - bardzo fajny, czteroczęściowy film dokumentalny zrobiony przez VH1 uk, obejrzałem na MTV2 (na którym jest obecnie metal week). Dużo wywiadów z muzykami i dziennikarzami, ciekawie pokazany rozwój gatunku.
