Kylesa wchodza do studia!

We've been writing a new record over the past few months and we're about to head to the Jam Room studio on Monday to begin tracking. We're excited to record a new album since it's been two years since we recorded "Time Will Fuse its Worth". It's hard to believe it's been that long! The cd will be released on Prosthetic Records in early 09 and the vinyl version will come out around the same time. Phillip will be producing the record. We'll send a few updates and photos from the studio.

Nowy album, Static Tensions, laduje w sklepach 17.03.2009! via Prosthetic Records

Phillip Cope (gitara/ wokal):
"It was definitely a lot more thought out. We have the hindsight of some of the mistakes we've made in the past, so we were able to avoid making them again on this record. I think we came away from the experience with our best stuff yet."

Laura Pleasants (gitara/ wokal):
"All of our records sound pretty different, but with the same core vibe or sound, and I think the new record has our core Kylesa sound, but branches out even more to incorporate more of our rock and psychedelic influences,"

o fuck! nie mailme poejcia.. jelsi chodiz o plyte Rise & Fall to przez wiele lat nie slyszalme tak genialnych albumow w tym gatunku.. Kylesa i dziestaki zeposlowktore poszly w tym kierunku nie nagrywaly nic tak dobrego.. tamta plyta to czysta mizantropia

''Kolejny krążek formacji Kylesa "Static Tensions" ukaże się 17 marca nakładem Prosthetic Records. Zespół zaprezentował premierowy utwór z tego krążka.
Kompozycji zatytułowanej "Said and Done" można posłuchać pod adresem: http://www.myspace.com/kylesa

Nowe nagrania zespołu wyprodukował gitarzysta i wokalista zespołu Phillip Cope, który zapowiada najlepszy album w dyskografii grupy. "Zidentyfikowaliśmy błędy, które popełnialiśmy wcześnie i tym razem udało na się ich uniknąć" - mówi Cope.

"Wszystkie nasze płyty brzmią inaczej, ale mają ten sam rdzeń. Ten fundament słychać w nowych nagraniach, pomimo tego, że tym razem jest w nich więcej wpływów rocka i psychodelii" - dodaje gitarzystka i wokalistka Laura Pleasants.

Okładkę płyty przygotował John Dyer Baizley z Baroness.

Album ukaże się również na winylu dzięki 20 Buck Spin. Zaraz po premierze zespół ruszy w trasę razem z The Haunted at Pomona oraz Calif.’s Glass House.
