americans don't have accent at all (; anyway, i also think that british is more difficult. and i like it more, all the british english words or spelling rules are way more cool than american :D

for example i think "colour" looks better than "color" (:

Americans do have an accent. Just watch any western or any "godfather" movie.... from far east coast, thru midwest or the south, all the way to pacific nw you have all kinds of different american accents :)

personally i prefer aussie/kiwi accent or scotish/irish :) they just talk funny:)

Last week I was visited by my Scottish maybe-brother-in-law. I had never thought that you could speak English with so many "f"s among other speech sounds :) At first I couldn't understand him at all. Then just often :)
Scottish accent is cool, though :)
  • Mike

I prefer also American accent, just because I don't get British cuz it's too square (as we talk in Poland), when the American is so smooth and fast:D
  • laso!

of course they have! almost in every state the accent is different so just try to understand a guy from south...
although i think that british accent is way... more interesting, let's say. i simply love the way they say "thank you very much" pronouncing "much" as "MUCZ". something beautiful =)
anyway, i still prefer american english to british.

For me cockney accent is the best.
I remember when my grandmother said to me that I speak with pure cockney accent, that was great, I was so proud of my self.

    So, cockney accent.
