Common Law Society and Center for American Law present
LAW IN ACTION
a series of workshops followed by a Moot Court
Ever wondered how does law in action really operate?
Fancy enhancing your legal reasoning skills?
Ready for a journey around the common law system?
Pit your skills against the cases prepared by the professors from the University of Florida and attorneys from the international law firms.
The first workshop commencing the Law in Action project
An Introduction to Common Law and Case Analysis
will be held on
13th October 2008, 6.30 p.m, sala im. Brudzińskiego, Pałac Kazimierzowski.
The lecture will be evolving around the main principles of the common law system and case analysis, presented by Ph. D. Tomasz Kozłowski from the University of Warsaw, while Prof. Christine Klein from the University of Florida will provide us with a case concerning the environmental law. The interactive discussion and legal argumentation will follow, supported by the feedback from a Fulbright scholar, prof. Francis Conte from the Dayton Law School. We will also furnish you with further information on the next workshops and the Moot Court succeeding the project.
Don't bring neither your notes nor statutes.
Law in books has come to an end.
Law in Action begins.
